Indian Wells Tennis Garden, California

BNP Paribas Open Travel Packages, Indian Wells

Two weekends worth chasing at the desert's biggest tennis fortnight: the Round 2 and 3 rush of matches, or the semi-final and final weekend where the draw narrows to a champion.

The BNP Paribas Open fills the Indian Wells Tennis Garden for two weeks every spring, drawing a combined ATP and WTA field that most fans just call the fifth major. It is set in the California desert outside Palm Springs, close enough to golf courses, spa resorts and mountain views that a tennis trip here doubles as a proper desert getaway. We build packages around two hotels and two weekends: the Best Western Plus Palm Desert for travelers who want the tennis without the resort price tag, and the La Quinta Resort and Club, a Hilton Curio Collection property, for those who want five golf courses, dozens of pools and a full spa attached to their stay. Every package carries reserved seating in Stadium 1 for the sessions in your window, a shuttle running to the gate, and a private transfer from Palm Springs International so the only thing you have to plan is what to watch first.

At a glance

  • Choice of two hotels for both weekends: the value-minded Best Western Plus Palm Desert or the five-star La Quinta Resort and Club, a Hilton Curio Collection property with five golf courses and a full spa
  • Reserved 400 Level seating in Stadium 1, Rows A-G, for every session in your package, plus grounds access to Stadiums 3-9 to catch rising players on the outer courts
  • Rounds 2 and 3 weekend covers Saturday and Sunday, morning and afternoon sessions, March 6-7, 2027
  • Semi-Finals and Finals weekend covers the women's semi-final, the men's semi-final, and both finals, March 12-14, 2027
  • Private roundtrip transfers from Palm Springs International Airport, plus a shuttle running every 60 minutes between hotel and tennis garden
  • Daily breakfast, complimentary parking and all taxes built into the price, so the number you see is close to the number you pay
  • NetJets Club hospitality available as an add-on: air conditioned lounge, catered menu and premium open bar for the fans who want to watch a set, then step out of the sun

FAQ

Questions people actually ask

What is the difference between the two hotels?

The Best Western Plus Palm Desert is the value option: comfortable, close to the action, with daily breakfast included. The La Quinta Resort and Club, a Hilton Curio Collection property, is the five-star choice, with five golf courses, 41 pools, 21 tennis courts and a spa on site. Both hotels come with the same shuttle service and reserved seating.

Which matches are included in each weekend?

The Rounds 2 and 3 weekend covers four sessions, Saturday and Sunday morning and afternoon, March 6-7, 2027. The semi-finals and finals weekend covers the women's semi-final on Friday, the men's semi-final on Saturday, and both finals on Sunday, March 12-14, 2027.

What is the deposit and payment schedule?

Deposits run from $350 to $1,000 per person depending on the package. After that, 50% of the remaining balance is due September 17, 2026, and the final payment is due January 5, 2027.

Can I upgrade my seats or add hospitality access?

Yes. Shaded seating, 100 Level and lower stadium sections, and NetJets Club hospitality access are all available as add-ons, priced per session. We recommend booking upgrades early for the semi-finals and finals weekend, since those sell out first.

Is airfare included?

No. Packages include private roundtrip ground transfers from Palm Springs International Airport, but airfare to Palm Springs is arranged separately.

Can I extend the trip or bring a larger group?

Yes. Extra nights before or after the tournament window are easy to add at either hotel, and we build custom quotes for tennis clubs, corporate groups and multi-family trips through the Premium and Private Group option.

Booking and logistics

How does payment and the deposit work?

You reserve your package with a per-person deposit and pay the balance on a set schedule, with final payment typically due 60 days before departure. Deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, so we recommend travel insurance to protect what you pay. Your booking is transacted by a licensed tour operator whose full written terms govern your trip, and no payment is taken through this website. The full terms are on our legal and disclosures page.

Can you plan a trip for one person or a couple?

Yes. Package prices are quoted per person and depend on how many people share a room, so solo travelers and couples are quoted accordingly. Tell us your group and we will price it honestly.

Can you handle a large group?

Yes. We handle private groups, typically parties of eight or more, with dedicated coordination for the tickets, hotel, and logistics so everyone travels together smoothly.

Is Sports Travel Zone a legitimate, licensed agency?

Yes. We are a registered seller of travel, California CST 2155818-70 and Florida ST43282, a service of Early and Away Travel, LLC. Your booking is fulfilled by a licensed tour operator, and we earn a commission when you book.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

Deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, and event tickets and hotel-only reservations are final once booked. If you cancel, any amount already paid cannot be refunded, which is why we strongly recommend travel insurance. If an event is postponed or cancelled, you receive updated tickets or a credit only to the extent the ticket or hotel vendor refunds the operator. The full terms are on our legal and disclosures page and are provided to you in writing before you book.
