FAQ
Questions people actually ask
Which days should we attend?
The early days carry the short programs and rhythm dance across the disciplines, while the closing days bring the free skate and free dance sessions that decide the national titles. If you can only make part of the week, the closing days are the highest-demand and highest-energy sessions.
Does the package cover every session, or just one day?
The Championships Week package is built around the full five-night window and reserved seating across the competition sessions during your stay. If you only want select days, let us know and we will look at what can be adjusted.
What is the seating like?
Every package includes a reserved seat for the sessions you are booked to attend. Closer-to-ice upgrades are sometimes available depending on what the venue releases, and we can check current availability when you book.
How far is the hotel from the arena?
The Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City is downtown, about fifteen minutes from the arena, with scheduled roundtrip transportation included on competition days so you are not renting a car.
How does the deposit and payment schedule work?
A $450 per person deposit reserves your spot at booking. Fifty percent of the remaining balance is due October 5, 2026, with the final payment due November 4, 2026.
When should we book?
As early as you can. National championship weeks draw skating families, clubs, and fans from across the country, and hotel rooms downtown fill well ahead of the event.
Booking and logistics
How does payment and the deposit work?
You reserve your package with a per-person deposit and pay the balance on a set schedule, with final payment typically due 60 days before departure. Deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, so we recommend travel insurance to protect what you pay. Your booking is transacted by a licensed tour operator whose full written terms govern your trip, and no payment is taken through this website. The full terms are on our legal and disclosures page.
Can you plan a trip for one person or a couple?
Yes. Package prices are quoted per person and depend on how many people share a room, so solo travelers and couples are quoted accordingly. Tell us your group and we will price it honestly.
Can you handle a large group?
Yes. We handle private groups, typically parties of eight or more, with dedicated coordination for the tickets, hotel, and logistics so everyone travels together smoothly.
Is Sports Travel Zone a legitimate, licensed agency?
Yes. We are a registered seller of travel, California CST 2155818-70 and Florida ST43282, a service of Early and Away Travel, LLC. Your booking is fulfilled by a licensed tour operator, and we earn a commission when you book.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
Deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, and event tickets and hotel-only reservations are final once booked. If you cancel, any amount already paid cannot be refunded, which is why we strongly recommend travel insurance. If an event is postponed or cancelled, you receive updated tickets or a credit only to the extent the ticket or hotel vendor refunds the operator. The full terms are on our legal and disclosures page and are provided to you in writing before you book.
